Greenbelters...
Okay, here's the scenario:
After our Geog 111 exam, me and Debbie were at the AS steps trying to figure out where to go to unwind. It was, after all, a Friday, and after studying our brains out all week long, we didn't want to head on home without rewarding ourselves first! I suggested SM North, but since we just went there two days ago to watch "Meet the Fockers," it was stupid to tambay there again. Galleria was also out of the question because we were trying to save money, and it's actually impossible to do just that in Galleh. All of a sudden, I just blurted out, "Greenbelt," and we both just sat there, dumbfounded, carefully analyzed the suggestion, looked at each other, and in unison, cried out, "WHY THE HELL NOT?" Hehe... I swear!!! It was gonna be one of those spur-of-the-moment thingies. The last time we had a "spur" was when Pa-siyam came out and despite warnings to stay at home because of the Yoyong Bagyo, we still went out! Pa-siyam sucked BIG time by the way.
I don't usually gimik in Makati, because it's actually out of the way (as in super layo)... so my Greenbelt trips can literally be counted by using just one hand. *Go figure*... Anyway, it was fun to roam around the malls, check out all sorts of people, eavesdrop on some conversations, and syempre, the highlight of it all, eat in a poshy high-end place... Italiani's.
We ordered a Salmon pizza, just because we've never tried anything like that before, and it was actually quite nice, although I must say, that the salmon tasted like tuyo! It was so salty, and in my opinion, the pizza was waaay better off without that bit of fish. O well.... it was definitely tummy filling anyways.
And oh, we saw Cosmo centerfold hottie Corey Willis walking about with a huge Fed-ex looking package in one arm. He's sooo HOT I swear! But in person, he was less posh looking compared to those billboards, print ads, commercials and TV guestings. Still, he was HOT! The moment I saw him, me and Debbie followed him around trying to get a good look at his face. If only he wasn't carrying something, I would have asked for his autograph! I don't care if it's corny. Oh God! I was just so starstruck! =) Hehe....
Corey and his lucky lucky LUCKY gf!!! awww... ;)
Anyways, after that, we headed off home... dead tired, but very much fulfilled... and defintely "rewarded." I just hope I aced that Geography exam... ;)
